FINAL MODEL - WEEK 3 & 4

FINAL MODEL - WEEK 3 & 4
Here are the pictures of my final model. I have using the timber materials into the basement studio(for piano).
The motor cycle's structure and the half wheel to create that studio which above the ground, using glass to show the clear structure of the buildings, there are two different types of landings or platforms to show the studio of the motor cycles. The showroom was separated into two floors, the lager ones, which looks like a combination of the flat and the half ball, and the small triangle ones. The basement piano studio's inspiration was from the the piano keys. I used the texture I made to decorate it, that pattern is the city view of Barcelona, and then I used the wood materials to show the timber surface.

The inspiration was from the motor cycle's structure, and another inspiration was from the piano black and white keys. As it is just a draft, I have not used timber materials to decorate the basement studio yet.

Sketchup Models
1. I wonder if we go into the show room like an adventure of the new things, it would be great if we can get into a door or you can call it the "cave". Road from wide to narrow, lights from bright to dark.
2. The stair was just using the circle stairs to create a sense of elegant, the stair rail were design in curves and hollow.
3. If you walk from the motor studio to the show room, you will find these stairs like a journey through the forest, and  you will find the materials of the stairs was built from metal to timber. The holes on the wall will give you much more exchange of lights and shadows, and you will find it will be pretty fun to walk through this long stairs.
4. The "DNA" curved stairs was inspired by the structure of the DNA. it will be very interesting to go up and down by two different ways.

DRAFT MODEL 1 - WEEK 1 PROJECT
